Democrats Renew Their Role Of "Job Killers!"Posted by: Lumi Boldovici on Jul 21, 2010 Tagged in: Untagged

The ultimate price of democrats’ policies is: "lost jobs"! Policies that affect not only our economic well being but our national and personal security as well.
Since all politics are considered to be local, let's consider what is happening currently in the “Democratic Republic of Chicago"...Evidently the place with the highest taxes in the nation is a good illustration that the perpetual increase of taxes is not a viable economic policy that creates jobs but a disastrous policy that kills jobs, eliminates the creation of small businesses and stimulates an exodus of investors out of Illinois.
The myth that the government can create money or jobs is grossly exaggerated, misunderstood and politicized. Yes, the government can print paper, create a limited number of jobs. However, real money and real jobs are created by real people, real businesses doing real things. That is why free enterprise capitalism is the best way of creating jobs and real wealth.
The role of the government is to ensure "equal opportunity", to facilitate the climate for job growth by providing an optimal legislative climate for investors to create jobs. In this respect, the Democratic Party is doing exactly the opposite. Increasing taxes in a precarious economic climate is disastrous.
Par example, property taxes in Cook County do not reflect the current market value of real estate values. A future 25% increase in property taxes will definitley bury the real estate market which by the way represents 40% of the economic sector.
But instead of addressing real issues the democrats chose to divert the attention from the crude reality and consequences of unlimited government spending by slandering the "TEA PARTY" movement and labeling it as racist. So, our parents and grandparents are racist for exhibiting their concern for the 3 trillion deficit that this administration has incurred to no real avail. Most, embarrassing is the fact that the president has delegated the NAACP to discredit and demonize the Tea Party Movement. There is no evidence that the Tea Party Movement is racist. On the contrary there is plenty of evidence that “Obama economics” do not work. It is most unfortunate for the American people that the president does not understand the role of the government which is to: REPRESENT THE PEOPLE NOT DOMINATE THE PEOPLE!
The Tea Party movement is about representation which is at the heart of the republic. No taxation without representation. The passing of the health care bill was an example of violating the people's will. Instead, every vote for was bought the "Chicago Way". And since we are doing so well here in Chicago, why not apply the same system nation wide?
Michael Bailey's slaying is another sad example of the violence escalating in Chicago due to lack of funding? There is not enough money to hire more caps to contain and diminish the violence on the streets. There is no money to hire more teachers. I believe it was last month that 2700 teachers were fired. This is disastrous for it will increase the already large class size from 30 to about 40 students per teacher.
My best friend who is a democrat called me last week to tell me that the entire staff at Marshall High School was terminated. I taught at Marshall High School for four years. The staff is comprised of committed educators of excellent academic and diverse cultural background. Personally, I think that they should have gotten a pay increase. Let the politicians that are responsible for the mess in the educational system teach at Marshall. I bet they would not last one day. Of course, it's Bush's and the teachers’ fault for the poor academic performance at Marshall High School.
In a recent editorial Dick Morris has so eloquently made the case that the democrats are deserting Obama. Personally, I believe that the loyalty of the Democratic Party should be to the American People. Unfortunately, under this administration more than others the democrats have deserted the interests of the American People. For a party that does not represent the will of the people is no longer democratic but dictatorial.
Operating on confiscated tax money to increase bureaucracies and appoint all sorts of "Czars" under the pretense to create jobs is a highly undemocratic, unconstitutional and unproductive strategy. Higher taxes kill jobs!
Conclusion the party of high taxes is the party of job destruction. Therefore, any time the Democratic Party renews their commitment to increase taxes they renew their role of "job killers"!
So the upcoming election is about job creation. Social issues will play a minor role. Therefore, Quinn's effort to drag Brady into an abortion debate will be futile, irrelevant and should not be honored.
It will be tea time in November! Locally and nationally this election will prove to be an anti-tax revolt. All Americans will participate, and indifferent of their political affiliations they will cast their vote in favor of the candidate that will lower their taxes and create jobs.
